GOAL

GOAL setting is a process that can be applied to any area of one's life. This  applies to determining what an individual wants, ultimately, and also to the steps required to accomplish that desire or set of desires.
It is a powerful process for thinking about your ideal future, and for motivating yourself to turn your vision of this future into reality.

Any individual or team without their definite goal either in personal or professional life is leading with no destination or success unplanned.
Always set goals that are measurable in some way.
Every goal that you create must be time-sensitive in nature. Not having a time element attached to your goal breeds procrastination.Goals must have definite starting points and ending points and milestones along the way.
The three keys to living without limits have always been the same. They are clarity, competence, and concentration.
When you begin to dream big, abandon the activities that are taking up too much of your time, and focus your inward energies on alleviating your main constraints.
Life is like a game of cricket. When you think a fastball is coming, You got to be ready to hit it harder. Remember the goal is where we want to be. The objectives are the steps needed to get there
If you want a quick, simple way to reach success,in your personal, financial, and professional life then plan your goals SMARTly ie goals should be Specific Measurable Attainable Relevant Timely. These key words are self explanatory.

Quotes:
Shoot for the moon.  Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars.  ~Les Brown
My philosophy of life is that if we make up our mind what we are going to make of our lives, then work hard toward that goal, we never lose - somehow we win out.  ~ Ronald Reagan
Leaders aren't born they are made. And they are made just like anything else, through hard work. And that's the price we'll have to pay to achieve that goal, or any goal.~ Vince Lombardi

The Power of Self Discipline

Discipline is hard work.It delivers benefits far beyond what you see on the surface. It is built by consistently performing small acts of courage.Another aspect of discipline is "self-control."Self-control is something everyone can relate to and when you master it, you gain strength and power. It will provide you with mental reserves required to persevere when life throws you one of its little curves.
One angle I like to look at self-discipline, can certainly be helpful: self-discipline is the power to act on ideas. It is the ability to take things from thoughts and realize them through actions and results. It is one of the pillars of success and power. It endows the inner strength to focus all the energy on a goal and persevere until it is accomplished. One of the most simple and effective methods to develop self-discipline is by refusing to satisfy unimportant and unnecessary desires.
Developing Self Discipline, here are a few examples:
  • Resist taking your bike for couple of days, where often u take it.
  • Walk up and down the stairs instead of taking the lift.
  • Get down from the bus one station before or after your destination, and walk the rest of the way.
  • For a week go to sleep one hour earlier than usual.
  • Sometimes resist the desire to eat an ice cream.
While you are gaining strength and confidence through your dedication to discipline, others will be noticing your specialness. You will be different. You will be stronger. You will be better.

We are what we repeatedly do, excellence then is not an act, but a habit."!~ Aristotle
